Qualifications:
- 1996 Specialist diploma in vascular surgery
- 1991 Certificate in Surgery
- 1987 Semmelweis Medical University
In 1987 I graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine of Semmelweis OTE with “Summa cum laude”. After graduating I worked in the Department of Surgery at the Róbert Károly Hospital (now named after Gyula Nyírő) in Budapest. After obtaining my medical degree (1991) I worked as a specialist. After a successful application, I attended a vascular surgery training course at the Institute of Vascular and Cardiac Surgery at Semmelweis University from 1994-96, after which I successfully passed the specialist vascular surgery examination. In 2007, I learned about the experimental introduction of a new surgical procedure, which was only performed in a few university clinics in the USA and Western Europe.
Among them was the prestigious University Hospital of Heidelberg, where I successfully applied to study and learn the new type of surgery. In 2008, under the assistance of a Heidelberg vascular surgeon colleague, I was the first in Hungary to start radiofrequency varicose vein surgery. In the past 15 years I have gained considerable experience and practice in the care of varicose vein patients and in the application of new surgical procedures.
Primary investigations and problems with which the doctor is sought:
