I graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine at Semmelweis University in 1986. My first specialization was in anesthesia-intensive therapy, and my second was in cardiology. In Hungary, I worked at the Sports Hospital and then at the University of Postgraduate Medical Education, which has changed its name several times. Initially, I worked in the surgical intensive care unit, and later in the cardiology intensive care unit.
I spent one year at the University of Pittsburgh, followed by two years at its Italian institute, where I was mainly involved in providing cardiological and intensive care support for organ transplants. Upon returning to Hungary, I worked in the intensive care unit and cardiology outpatient clinic at the National Institute of Rheumatology, and then spent four years conducting clinical drug trials as a sub-investigator and principal investigator. I have been involved in cardiology outpatient care for 20 years. In 2017, I obtained a license to perform adult cardiac ultrasound.
At the Margit Medical Center, we conduct cardiological examinations and evaluate brought-in results, and if necessary, perform additional instrumental examinations, including resting and stress ECG, cardiac ultrasound, 24-hour ECG, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, and calcium score examination. We also perform cardiac ultrasound examinations required during oncology treatments. In addition to prescribing medications, we provide specialist recommendations. For healthy individuals, we offer screening tests and cardiovascular risk assessments.
